Airmanship

Some points that will greatly assist the running of the event, and help everyone’s enjoyment:

• Try to use a preferred ASA route;
• Take notes of instructions recieved from ATC;
• Be ahead of your aircraft and anticipate the next stage of flight, eg. Frequency Change;
• Make radio transmissions brief but clear and concise;
• Have charts ready and be comfortable with your aircraft;
• Carry out instructions as quickly and as accurately as possible; and
• Advise ATC if you need to make any speed changes at any time during the flight

ATC Sectors

To cope with the rush of traffic in a short period, extra sectors will be opened. These sectors are standard 'special' sectors for Sydney.
